Reminiscing

Yet again, I'm not posting something about Cerulean *LE GASP*.

This has been on my mind a lot as of late. When I was in high school, I had friends who liked to 'roleplay.' Not larping (live action roleplaying. I can't do serious larping very well (like making up a character and physically acting out what their actions).

Back to what I initially brought up: roleplaying. I had a friend who introduced me to 'roleplaying' as I know it: two (or more) individuals writing a story together via messenger. Here's an example of what I'm talking about:/
Ali (6/25/2008 6:44:57 PM): She looked at it. "What do you think?" She whined as another arrow shot in between them. "In the house." she pulled the horse into the stable and followed Ket into the house.
Saya (6/25/2008 6:49:02 PM): Ari looked at him, she could see something growing in his eyes a darkness of some sort. Noah leaned down farther next to her so his cheek was against hers and he tightend his grip on her wrist, "Ari, you..." his breath was hot in her ear and his voice warm and soft.
Actually, that was from the Elements sequel. I likely took it out of context. I'm not even at that point I just scrolled through the doc and found the first point where I didn't finish removing time stamps, which really wasn't that far in (27 pages out of 200).

Anyway, I've grown to miss that. The person who introduced me to that style of roleplaying has moved on to acting, the one friend that I used to roleplay with a lot I am no longer friends with and the few who I wouldn't mind roleplaying with I don't see or get to talk to very often.

Well, this is it for this post. Expect one soon for Camp NaNo August novel :D

Always,
Ali
