Top Ten Tuesday: Books about Friendship

So it's Tuesday again! A really late Top Ten Tuesday... I haven't done a Top Ten in a few weeks but I digress. This week's Top Ten is about friendship. Now, I haven't read many books solely about friendship but have read plenty where friendship as a major plot device--not sure which Broke and Bookish wants but eh. Those latter books will probably show up her a lot.

  1. Year of Secret Assignments by Jaclyn Moriarty
  2. Feeling Sorry for Celia by Jaclyn Moriarty
  3. Basically anything in the Ashbury/Brookfield 'series' -- they're all stand-alone novels so you don't have to read them in any order
  4. Vampire Academy series by Richelle Mead -- plot device
  5. The Gemma Doyle trilogy by Libba Bray -- plot device
  6. Anything by Sarah Dessen -- plot device?, have only read a few things by her but of the few I've read, friendship was a pretty important part of the novel
  7. Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling -- plot device
  8. Peter Pan series by Dave Barry/Ridley Pearson -- plot device
  9. Hex Hall series by Rachel Hawkins -- plot device
  10. Lord of the Rings by J.R.R. Tolkien -- plot device
